If asked, we’d have to say we’ve built more garages than anything else over the years. However we’d also have to say that no two garages, or carports, have ever been exactly the same. Options start presenting themselves as soon as we begin measuring the space available. Do you want a single door or double door vehicle entry, separate side entrance (and on which side), windows? The list gets long in a hurry.

Today’s residential garage is more than just a place to protect a vehicle. The addition of a leanto shed into the overall plan can provide a roomy workshop or home office. If the site doesn’t lend itself to building out, we can always look at a gable shed or barn shed design that builds up. A loft area for additional storage, or even a guest room can easily be accommodated into a garage design.
